Namco Taiko Blog (11 April 2013) - Taiko no Tatsujin x NicoNico Conference 2, the details

The highly-anticipated NicoNico Super Conference 2 is going to begin in about two weeks (on April 27-28), and today's Taiko Team blog entry finally reveals the promo songs that will be in Sorairo during the event!

As most of you might remember, the Taiko Team issued a small poll weeks ago on Twitter with the hashtag #nico_taiko, in which everyone could suggest the name of a song, any song, to be included in the special Sorairo build at the event. Three different songs have been picked from the poll and made available to play for this special event, consisting of a Vocaloid song and two Game Music tunes from Touhou Project:

Vocaloid
Miku Miku ni Shite Ageru♪ (みくみくにしてあげる♪) ika feat. Hatsune Miku

Game Music
Night of Knights (ナイト・オブ・ナイツ) Touhou Project Arrange - Original song: Flowering Nights
Bad Apple!! feat. nomiko Touhou Project Arrange - Original song: Bad Apple!!

Remember that these three particular songs will be made playable only for the NicoNico Conference event, so don't expect to see them in a future public Sorairo update! Luckily, several video-recording events will be held (including a presentation of the arcade cabinet by the Taiko Team itself on Sunday 28th!), so chances are that we would still be able to get notecharts from the songs.

It doesn't end there though, there are six more songs in the special arcade, and these will be included in a future firmware update for Sorairo. They are the four winners of last year's Gumi contest on CreoFuga and two IA songs, in conjunction with the release of the IA/02 COLOR album:

Kohi no Aji to (珈琲の味と) Harunaba feat.GUMI
Juukinzoku Fugitive (重金属フューギティブ) Ryuitti feat.GUMI
Dokidoki Koi no Yokan!? (ドキドキ恋の予感!? )* Noriyuki feat.GUMI
Ninjin Nin (にんじんにん) Toyonaga Gonta P feat.GUMI
Enmei Chiryou (延命治療) Neru feat.IA
Yobanashi Deceive (夜咄ディセイブ) Jin (Shizen no Teki-P) feat.IA

* To avoid confusion, this song was previously called 'Gumigumigumi' in the CreoFuga contest entry

Last but not least, Banapassport users who try at least one Vocaloid song at the event will be awarded with an IA costume early, which will be made publicly available in the future, probably through a title unlock.

However, with all this freshly-added content there is a catch: none of the current songs in the Sorairo arcade save for the Vocaloid genre and the three special songs above will be at the event, due to the Vocaloid-centric nature of the conference.
