Namco Taiko Blog (26 September 2013) - October's Donchare of Loss and Gain

As September comes again to a close, today's Taiko Blog entry is about the next set of Don Challenge unlockable content (and probably the last one for Sorairo arcades, judging by the title list), as well as the first set of licensed songs which will be removed from this generation of arcades.

Let's start with the merrier stuff first! Thanks to a pun, October 2013's Don Challenge song is Tenjiku 2000, another song from the infamous 2000 series which was introduced on both Taiko DS1 and Taiko 10. It's the 10th month of the year, so it makes sense to feature a song that has 'Ten' in its name, isn't it?

If you don't remember the song, here's a video for a fresh reminder:

The Sports Day outfit (うんどうかい) will be awarded to players in the month of October and is another brand new costume. It looks really fitting for the future Wii U Taiko game's Baton Pass mode, doesn't it?

And now, ... it's time for the cold shower. J-Pop song Galaxy Express 999 and three Anime tunes (La La La Suite Precure, Hare Hare Yukai, Motteke! Sailor Fuku) will no longer be playable after October 22nd, 7 a.m. (Japan time). In addition, Banapassport players won't be able to issue challenges to other players with these songs after September 30th. Also, while the four songs can't be picked anymore as the players's favourite songs for their Donder Hiroba profile anymore, the crowns and the high scores achieved with said songs will still be counted and displayed in the website, until the release of a future update.

Stay tuned for tomorrow, as another CreoFuga song will be mapped with another UStream/Nicovideo live session!
