In the morning, the scheduled main event started right after the steream's beginning ,featuring Etou, Masubuchi and Takemoto from the Taiko Team for a brief stage presentation about the things happening in the Taiko-verse, including the Mushroom/Bamboo Battle (still going strong) and the Sachiko Kobayashi collaboration expected to come next year (i.e. this year).
The Meiji-themed feud between Mushrooms and Bamboo Shoots has seen a surprising rise of the former group, after getting the short end of the stick for weeks. Compare the situation between the starting day and December 29th for yourself! As usual, the bit is followed by some regular plays for both Etou and the end-year stream's hosts, in order to boost scores a little bit.
In relation to the Sachiko-san front, the trio showcased some of the preliminary sketch artwork on some possible designs. A lot is playing on her title as the "Last Boss", see if you can pick up those punny cues!
Not pictured above there also were drawings for Frieza and Cell outfits for Don-Chan, but those have been shown for so little time that we couldn't snap either of those...
The camera then moved off stage where the cabinet stands, hosting a number of exhibition plays. To spice things up, a list of possible real-life obstacles pops up, including the likes of having to chug a bottle of soda first, and have other people tickle you as you play. Trust me when I say this is not the end of those gruesome hurdles.

Later in other games' sections, Taiko no Tatsujin will make random entrance, having Etou play the game's signature music (exclusively playable here) against the game's producers. To "balance out the game" I presume, Etou is once again subject to real-life obstacles, including having to constantly skipping, having other people tickling him all they way and having his wrists tied up. Still Etou wins all five encounters, so congrats there.
