Wii U3 Update: New Songs and amiibo!


Following yesterday's livestream, the Wii U3 website is also update with new stuff, starting from the above quick 15-second TVCM. Here we are going to summarize all the Wii U3 news here in better detail than our Quick Takeaways post.

amiibo Support
The initial boxart was accurate in the amiibo-supported mark. In Wii U3 if you touch specific amiibos in a dedicated menu, you can unlock more stuff than usual:
  • Use any Animal Crossing series amiibo or amiibo Cards to get  Animal Crossing: New Leaf Medley and special outfit (Isabelle, Tom Nook and Mr Resetti) and frame (house and yard with Isabelle and Tom Nook)
  • Use the Pacman amiibo to get  EAT'EM UP! and special outfit (Pacman on head) and frame (Pac-World themed)
(both songs are also obtainable by Mekadon Gasha normally; don't worry if you don't want to shell out for amiibo just for the songs)
